Our Branch’s Sierra College Committee works with campus representatives and staff to support AAUW missions on campus.

 

Sierra College is a College/University Partner with AAUW which allows for two staff members to be AAUW members and campus representatives and provides free AAUW memberships for students.

 

Some of the past campus projects have been conducting Start Smart Workshops, displays for Women’s History Month, resource, and membership tables at campus events, informing students and staff about Start Smart, Work Smart and Money Smart webinars online and other online resources, and donating food and supplies to the Basic Needs Closets.  We periodically email information on AAUW and AAUW-RSP programs and relevant campus programs to students and staff.

 

Our Branch also supports the Sierra College Women and Gender Resource Center. Additionally, an AAUW-RSP member is a community-at-large representative on the Sierra College Gender Equity Committee.
