The 2024-25 Board of Directors held a planning meeting in July.

Schelly Jensen - Co-President.

Sandy Haley - Co-President.

Sandy lives in Sun City Roseville.  She joined AAUW because she was interested in supporting education and in joining many of the interest groups.  With Schelly ‘s help, Sandy plans to discharge her responsibilities as co-President to the best of her ability and do all that she can to support our programs.

Michelle Colletto – President Elect

Living in Lincoln, she has committed herself to making a positive impact on her community by joining the American Association of University Women (AAUW). This past year Michelle worked with Speech Trek, helping train judges, and also worked on the High School Scholarship Committee. Both experiences were very rewarding, and she met and worked with so many wonderful women. Additionally, she is a part of the Wednesday Book Group.  This year she is serving as the President Elect and Chair of Speech Trek. These programs are pivotal in empowering the next generation, and she is passionate about fostering opportunities for young people to succeed academically and develop essential life skills. She looks forward to working with the wonderful women in AAUW.

Leslie McNeill - VP Secretary & Bylaws, Policies & Procedures Lead.

She lives in Roseville.  Leslie became a member in 2008 and joined to connect with other women.  She plans to welcome and support AAUW RSP members and the branch’s mission.

Patricia Goldman - Vice President Outreach.

Patricia joined the Branch in 2022, following a move to Rocklin from Olney, Maryland, a small town outside of Washington, DC. After living forty years in Maryland, Patricia and Steven moved to California during Covid to be closer to grandchildren in the Bay Area.

Born and raised in Massachusetts, she has a B.A. from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and an M.A. from Simmons College. Now retired, she was Program Director with Corestaff Services, managing her Company’s contracts with the federal government.

Paticia originally joined AAUW in the early 1980’s. Eventually, after becoming involved with career and family, she no longer had the time to devote to outside organizations.

She rejoined now to give back to the community through AAUW. She always considered AAUW as an organization that aligns with her interest in advancement for women. She is especially interested in helping provide young women the financial means to attend college.

She is excited to work on Branch Outreach, including supporting High School Scholarships, Speech Trek, Tech Trek, Gov Trek, Sierra College Leadership and Re-Entry Scholarships and AAUW Funds.

This coming year, she is going to work hard to increase our membership and the reach of our branch. She’s committed to our mission of supporting the education of women and girls and looks forward to meeting new people who share that vision.
